Physical ExaminationsA Physical Examination is very important for a pet of any age, regardless of whether the pet “looks healthy”. A Physical Examination consists of the doctor checking every body function of your pet. After the doctor is done her Physical Examination, it is discussed with the client and together it is decided the best course of action for the pet. If the pet is healthy, vaccines can be given. If the pet is a bit sore or off, a new or existing medication can be dispensed. A vaccination or a new medication can not be dispensed without a Physical Examination. If vaccinations are not given on a yearly basis, a yearly Physical Examination should still be done to make sure nothing new is starting to creep up on your pet that can not be seen with the untrained eye. |
